Ende wasn't to afraid to be nosy and ask questions. She could tell that she was making Dusk uncomfortable, she remembered she never told her what she could do. That had to be why she was uncomfortable.
"I can control the weather, different or special or whatever you want to call it as well" Ende said.
Ende found it amusing that Dusk seemed to be afraid of her. Really she didn't have any reason, Ende didn't have any reason to hurt her, nor did she have any intentions. She was just going to move on from the whole trapping her in darkness bubble, and rack that up to her scaring Dusk.
She dug into her bag and pulled out her pad, now that she could see somewhat, it was much easier. She flipped to the page and handed it to Dusk.
"That room is actually pretty cool, its filled with old car seats and like steering wheels and mufflers" Ende rambled.

"Oh really? Was that lightning you then?" Dusk asked. She'd seen the show x-men, and the power reminded her of Storm. She hadn't been one of her favourites, but her power was interesting enough. Jane loosened up a bit once she knew that she and Ende were on the same side so to speak. She still was a but leery to tell her everything about here powers since she had no idea if the girl would ever become an enemy.
"Well for the most part I can control shadows," Dusk said. She could tell her a lot without giving everything away with that. She leaned over to see the pad as Ende pulled it out. She could see the outlines on the paper. She could almost hear her mother telling her that reading in the dark would ruin her eyes, but she didn't think that it really would.
"That does look pretty neat," she said. She supposed that it wouldn't hurt to take a peek at the room. After all, Ende had given her no reason to be suspicious of her. Besides, she was curious about it anyway.

"Yeah, that was me. I don't have very good control over it but lightning I have done pretty good" Ende said.
She couldn't wait until she was just able to use her powers without having to mentally time herself. If she used her powers for five minutes or longer, than she practically passed out. It was her greatest weakness.
Controlling shadows was a new one for Ende, it was quite an interesting power. She figured that had to come in handy often. She knew for herself it would make it much easier to collect her money. She could just hide in the shadows then rob from the rich people.
"Thank you" Ende said happily as she looked at her drawing.

"Hey, of the elements associated with weather I'd say that lightning would be one of the more important ones to have a handle on," she said. "I'm gonna take a peek in there," she said.
Jane glanced sideways at Ende one more time before walking passed her. She liked the sound of a room filled with car seats. She paused outside the door for a moment before heading into the room. It reminded her of a kid's play place in a fast food restaurant.
"It looks like you've got a lot of detail work ahead of you," Jane said glancing at her watch. She still had several hours before she had to get back inside.

Ende nodded, she wasn't kidding with that one. She had to make sure that she accidently hit herself with lightning. When she discovered her power, she almost did a few times. Ende moved aside to let her past into the room. Seeing as it was so easy to get into the warehouse, she planned on coming here often.
"If you don't mind telling me, how did you get in here?" asked Ende.
Ende followed her in and sat down on one of the seats.
"I am so happy to meet somebody else, who has abilities. I mean I know there are others out there, but I've never met them" Ende said happily.

Jane moved to the side to let Ende get into the room easier.
"I got in through the back. I'll show you on the way out. It's easier than dodging traffic anyway," she replied.
Dusk smiled down at Ende. She was pleasantly surprised that she'd met someone like her too. Granted, she wasn't the same, but similar.
"Me too," she said with a smile. Before she could even finish turning her head Jane fell to the ground. Light from a truck spilled through the window where she had been standing. She'd shied away from it before she had really known that the truck was there. Someone was probably coming to check the powerless building.
"I think it's about time we got out of here," Jade hissed.

Ende hadn't even thought of looking in the back. She should have known there there was another way, a loose part of the fence or something. It was much safer than slipping through a front gate in view of a main road.
She saw Dusk duck down, but before she could even process what had happened she saw a headlight pass over her. Maybe there had been an alarm after all. Ende was not about to get caught for something as stupid as breaking and entering.
"Let's go" Ende said running through the door and down the stairs. She hoped Dusk was behind her, but she didn't have time to check. She turned around to head towards the door, but she saw a black shape in the window going for the door.
Looking around in the dark warehouse she tried to see if there was another door or a place to hide. Her eyes hadn't adjusted all the way, and she couldn't see anything.

Dusk pounded down the hall after Ende. Part of her had wanted to stay in that room since there was almost no chance that they would look in that room. Even if they would have she was sure she and Ende would have been able to find a place to hide.
In her haste she tripped her way down the stairs, and very nearly ran into Ende at the bottom. She certainly hadn't expected the girl to be stopped at the bottom. Dusk could tell that Ende couldn't see the stripped car near the back wall. After all, the girl hadn't run that way yet. She grabbed onto Ende's arm and made a dash for the car pulling darkness around them along the way.
Dusk was almost as blind as Ende by the time she made a slide to get behind the car. As far as she was concerned there was no way that they hadn't heard the slide on the other side of the room. She assumed that whoever it was was there to see why the power was out. The sound of the visitor's footfalls echoed back down the stairwell. Dusk let go of a breath and looked at Ende with a nervous grin.

Ende heard Dusk coming down the stairs behind her but she didn't think that she would run into her. Nearly jumping out of her skin when she almost got knocked down, she spun around to see if Dusk was alright.
When she grabbed Ende's arm and pulled her towards what looked like a car, she had a feeling that she was fine. Sliding behind the car with Dusk she ducked down low and watched as a person with a flashlight looked around. Ende could hear her heart pounding in her chest, and prayed that he wouldn't walk towards them.
She was not prepared to get in trouble and if the man caught them and tried to call the police, Ende would strike him down if she had too. Dusk seemed like a nice enough person and Ende liked her but she had a feeling if she killed the man, their new friendship would end there. She exchanged a nervous smile with Dusk.

Much to Dusk's relief the man only swung his flashlight in their direction for a moment, muttering something about rats, before he headed up the stairs. Dusk held her breathe for a long fifteen seconds. By then his footfalls were almost inaudible from their position.
"Alright, let's get out of here. Be careful though, someone might be out there with him," she whispered standing up. How she hoped that the lights were pointed away from the door.

Ende nodded her head and jumped to her feet, she was more than ready to get out of there. Seeing how much trouble it was, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to come back and bother. She didn't see any bright lights thankfully so Dusk would be okay. No other noises seemed to be coming from outside so Ende figured that the man had come on his own.
"Lead the way" Ende loudly whispered to Dusk. Going out through the front fence seemed to risky with the own snooping around.

Dusk quickly skirted by the stairs and out the door. Thankfully she the truck had been turned off. She took the stairs to the ground two at a time.
"Alright, this way," she said softly still smiling with the rush of adrenaline from their visitor. She jogged to the pile of cars she had been perched on when she had first seen Ende and circled around to the back of the pile.
"I'm not sure how long he'll be in there. We might want to wait here for a bit. I know you can see the back fence from the building," she said a bit louder now that they were in the clear.

Ende did one last quick glance around for any other people and when she saw none, followed Dusk to the pile of cars. She really hated that she had to run away from this place, it would have been quite exciting to just walk around in. There was so much junk lying around in row after row. The creativity in her head was buzzing.
"Okay but not too long, I'll feel a lot better once we're on the other side of the fence" Ende said speaking normally. The building was still a good distance away, she doubted that he could hear from all the way upstairs. Even if he did, they had more than enough time to run away and get through the fence.

Dusk waited for a few moments before deftly lifting herself to the top of the car pile. She could see the silhouette of the man moving around in one of the rooms upstairs.
He was very close to one of the windows. She gauged about how long it would take him to get from that room and to the truck if he left now. They had time.
"He's still upstairs. We can head out," she called as she monkeyed her way down the shells of once good vehicles.
"Thank you for visiting Scrap's Junkyard. Please follow you attendant to the exit," she said before bolting toward the back fence. It wasn't too far off, but she was still a bit winded by the time she got there. She glanced back to make sure Ende was with her.

Ende climbed down the cars and looked at the fence, she was more than sure they could easily get to it before the man even realized.
Ende laughed as she ran behind Dusk to the back fence. She was extremly grateful that she had thought to put on comfy shoes instead of her usual heels. With all of the running she had been doing, she would have sure at some point have broken her ankle.
"I'm keeping up" Ende said when she noticed Dusk check behind her.

"Alright," she said. "She how the fence is bent right here?"
She rolled lightly rolled over it and landed on the other side.
"That's all there is to it," she said. She glanced nervously back at the building. The man had gone away from the window, but she was sure that they still had plenty of time to get out of sight.
"Any other big break ins tonight?" she asked jokingly.
